GI Bill®

The GI Bill® is a group of benefits available to veterans, service members and immediate family members. Once individuals have earned the GI Bill® through their service, the next step is to apply to use the benefit with the Department of Veterans Affairs. Once you receive a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) from the VA, present your COE to staff in Purdue's Veterans Success Center to finalize the certification process.

  • Yellow Ribbon Program
  • Montgomery GI Bill® for Active Duty (MGIB-AD)—Chapter 30
  • Montgomery GI Bill® for Selected Reserves (MGIB-SR)—Chapter 1606
  • Veteran Readiness and Employment (VR&E)—Chapter 31
  • Post 9/11 GI Bill® Transfer of Entitlement (TOE-approved by the Department of Defense)
  • Fry Scholarship
  • Dependent Education Assistance Program (DEAP)—Chapter 35
