Lisa Schroeder

Lead Human Resources Business Partner

Lisa Schroeder joined Purdue University’s Human Resources department in January 2012 as an HR specialist. Since that time, she has partnered with senior leaders, staff, faculty and students across the university to advance HR best practices and help achieve organizational goals. She has 16 years of human resources experience in employee relations, recruiting, compensation, benefits and strategic initiative planning. 

Lisa partners with Student Life senior leadership to address a variety of workplace issues in a strategic manner that provides tangible value, identifies new opportunities and provides responsive human resources services in the areas of employee relations, HR policy interpretation, performance management, and training and development. 

Lisa received her bachelor’s degree in organizational communication from Purdue University and her master’s degree in legal studies from Purdue Global. In her free time, she enjoys bicycling, traveling and spending time with friends and family, including her 17-year-old son.
